2026 Rates, Amenities, & Policies

​Summer Amenities

Fully-furnished log cabins feature hand-made log furniture, wood burning stoves and beds for up to 14 guests. Most cabins have screened porches, either two fridges or one fridge + a stand-alone freezer. Your kitchen, bath and bedroom linens are provided, as well as nearly every kitchen utensil and cooking implement you could need. We do not have air conditioning or TV's in the cabins, but we do offer excellent fiber optic highspeed internet, as well as fans in every room. The resort has free-use kayaks, paddle boat, stand-up paddleboard, beach cruiser bicycles and a large children's play area. Boat, pontoon and golf cart rentals are available.

​Policies

  • We primarily rent on a weekly basis. Cabins 1-6 rent Saturday to Saturday and Cabins 7-9 (Founder's Cabin) rent Sunday to Sunday. We do have some split weeks available at a daily rate. Please inquire for shorter stays.

  • We require a $250 deposit (per week) for the smaller cabins (1, 2, 3, 6, & 7), and a $500 deposit for the larger cabins (Cabins 4, 5, 8, & 9-The Founder's Cabin). Shorter stay deposits are equal to one night's lodging.

  • Single night stays must be paid in full at the time of booking and are refundable up until two weeks prior to arrival.

  • Any cancellations within four weeks of arrival are cause for deposit forfeiture.  If we are able to backfill your cancellation, deposits may be refunded.

  • We accept cash, check and all major credit cards (with 3.5% service charge).

  • Excessive cleaning fees may be assessed and subtracted from your deposit. 

  • All prices subject to sales and lodging taxes.

  • By booking, you authorize Prothero's Post Resort to send text messages and emails with details regarding your reservation. Message/data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
